Native Teachers Circle Message Board

Are you a teacher of Native American Students, or a student planning to teach K-12th grade Native American Students?

Join the new MSN Group “Native Teachers Circle” hosted by the Center for Indian Education (CIE) at Arizona State University.

The Message group serves as a host site where teachers can come together and discuss current issues they are facing and help others in dealing with the problems they face as teachers. The message group has many features which include message boards, chat rooms, and photo albums. This is a group for teachers, by teachers. The success of the group depends on the level of activity by subscribers. This is completely free. The CIE is just starting the group, so the website will have more to offer in the coming months.

Benefits of the Native Teachers Circle Message Group include the following: Meeting people and having fun; sharing a common interest with others; adding to your resume and experience; exchanging ideas and culturally relevant lessons with other members of the organization; and the opportunity to network with professionals in the field of Indian Education.

To join, go to http://groups.msn.com/NativeTeachersCircle and click the “join now” link on the upper left-hand corner.

If you have any questions about the group, you may send an email to the moderator at jenn.johnson@asu.edu. Please include the subject line NativeTeachersCircle in your email.
