PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Recent Accomplishments

  • 2002-2005: Principal investigator of a three-year, $1.8 million school leadership grant from the United States Department of Education to create and implement coaching and mentoring curricula, modules, and experiences for learner centered leadership; develop school leadership pipeline with four urban school districts.
  • 2001-2003: Online course development. Developed and taught online courses in educational leadership area including Leadership Skills, Leadership Development, and Global Leadership in multiple formats with synchronous and asynchronous student participation. Course development and consultant with Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and Jones International University (Denver, Colorado).
  • 2000-2001: Consultant to the Arizona Department of Education. Provided evaluation and assessment expertise to Career Ladders program. Held interviews with Career Ladders districts across the state and developed state plan for evaluating programs in local school districts. Funding provided by the Arizona Department of Education.
  • 1996-1999: Co-investigator in grants related to evaluation of school-to-career in Colorado. Provided technical assistance on evaluation to 64 funded school-to-career partnership, wrote and analyzed surveys, and developed case studies of exemplary partnerships.
