- Members of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies E.D. faculty will chair no more than 10 active doctoral students (Ph.D. & Ed.D.) at one time unless they are sharing the work with a co-chair. In that case the number of doctoral students per faculty member may be increased to 15.
- Faculty members who have recently served as administrators, journal editors or in another approved assignment so that they reasonably would not have had time to meet the scholarly requirements stated in number 4 above, but who have an impressive earlier record of scholarly activity may be recommended to serve as program and dissertation committee chairs. However, such authorization will be granted for one time only and must be met at the time of the second review.
